কবে গৌরবনে, সুরধুনীতটে,
‘হা রাধে, হা ক্ড়্ষ্ণঽ বলে
কান্দিয়া বেḓআঽব, দেহসুখ ছাḓইঽ,
নানা লতাতরুতলে ১

kabe — when; gaura bane — in the forest of Gaura (Śrī Navadvīpa-dhāma); suradhunī — the Suradhunī River (Gaṅgā); taṭe — on the banks; hā rādhe — “Hā Rādhe”; hā kṛṣṇa’ — “Hā Kṛṣṇa”; bale — having called; kā̃diyā — having cried; beḓā’ba — I will wander; deha — bodily; sukha — pleasure; chāḓi’ — having given up; nānā — various; latā — vines; tarutale — trees + at the foot
Oh, when, giving up all bodily pleasures, will I wander under various trees and vines on the banks of the Suradhunī [Gaṅgā] in Gaura-vana [Śrī Navadvīpa-dhāma], weeping and calling out, “Hā Rādhe! Hā Kṛṣṇa!”?
শ্বপচগ্ঢ়েতে, মাগিয়া খাইব,
পিব সরস্বতীজল
পুলিনে পুলিনে, গḓআগḓই দিব,
করিঽ ক্ড়্ষ্ণকোলাহল ২

puline puline, gaḓāgaḓi diba,
kari’ kṛṣṇa-kolāhala 2
śbapaca — untouchables; gṛhete — from the homes; māgiyā — having begged; khāiba — I shall eat; piba — I shall drink; sarasbatī — Sarasvatī River; jala — water; puline puline — from river bank to river bank; gaḓāgaḓi diba — I shall roll; kari’ kṛṣṇa kolāhala — having loudly called “Kṛṣṇa”
I shall eat by begging from the homes of the untouchables and drink water from the Sarasvatī River. I shall roll on the ground on the river’s bank, loudly calling out Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s names.
ধামবাসিজনে, প্রণতি করিয়া,
মাগিব ক্ড়্পার লেশ
বৈষ্ণবচরণ, রেণু গায় মাখিঽ,
ধরিঽ অবধূতবেশ ৩
dhāmabāsi-jane, praṇati kariyā,
māgiba kṛpāra leśa
baiṣṇaba-caraṇa, reṇu gāya mākhi’,
dhari’ abadhūta-beśa 3
dhāmabāsi jane — to the residents of the holy abode; praṇati kariyā — having offered obesances; māgiba — I shall beg; kṛpāra — of mercy; leśa — a speck; baiṣṇaba — the Vaiṣṇavas; caraṇa — feet; reṇu — dust; gāya — body; mākhi’ — having smeared; dhari’ — having worn; abadhūta — a person neglected by soceity; beśa — cloth, dress
Offering my obeisances to all the dhāma-vāsīs, I shall beg a drop of mercy from them. Smearing the dust of the lotus feet of the Vaiṣṇavas upon my body, I shall don the cloth of an avadhūta.
গৌḓঅব্রজজনে, ভেদ না দেখিব,
হইব বরজবাসী
ধামের স্বরূপ, স্ফুরিবে নয়নে,
হইব রাধার দাসী ৪
gauḓa-braja-jane, bheda nā dekhiba,
ha·iba barajabāsī
dhāmera sbarūpa, sphuribe nayane,
ha·iba rādhāra dāsī 4
gauḓa braja jane — to the people of Gauḓa and Vraja; bheda — difference; nā — not; dekhiba — I shall see; ha·iba — I will become; barajabāsī — a resident of Vraja; dhāmera — of the holy abode; sbarūpa — the form; sphuribe — will appear; nayane — before eyes; ha·iba — I shall become; rādhāra — of Śrī Rādhā; dāsī — a maidservant
I shall see no distinction between the residents of Gauḓa and those of Vraja, and will thus become a true vrajavāsī myself. The transcendental form of the dhāma will appear to my vision, and I shall become a maidservant of Śrī Rādhā.
