অদ্ভুত যাঙ্কো পরকাশ
হিয়া অগেয়ান, তিমিরবর জ্ঞান,
সুচন্দ্র কিরণে করু নাশ ১

jaya jaya — all glories, all glories; śrīguru — to śrī guru; prema — pure love; kalpataru — desire-tree; adbhuta — astonishing, wonderful; yā̃ko — (ĵā̃hār) whose; parakāśa — manifestation; hiyā — heart; ageyāna — (ajñān) ignorance; timirabara — darkness + gloomy; jñāna — knowledge; sucandra — effulgent moon; kiraṇe — by rays; karu nāśa — he destroys
All glories, all glories to śrī guru, the desire-tree of prema, whose manifestation is most astonishing. With effulgent moonbeams of knowledge, he destroys the vast darkness of ignorance in the heart.

অয়াচিত মোহেন, পতিত হেরি যো পহুং,
যাচি দেয়ল হরিনাম ২

iha — his; locana — eyes; ānanda — bliss; dhāma — abode; ayācita — without praying; mo — me; hena — such as; patita — fallen person; heri — seeing; pahũ — (prabhu) spiritual master; yāci — voluntarily; deyala — he gave; harināma — names of Śrī Hari
His eyes are the abode of bliss. Seeing a person as fallen as me, this personality voluntarily gave me harināma, even without my asking.
দুরমতি অগতি, সতত অসতে মতি,
নাহি সুক্ড়্তি লব লেশ
শ্রীব্ড়্ন্দাবন, যুগলভজনধন,
তাহে করল উপদেশ ৩
duramati agati, satata asate mati,
nāhi sukṛti laba leśa
śrībṛndābana, yugala-bhajana-dhana,
tāhe karala upadeśa 3
duramati — [I am] wicked; agati — helpless, shelterless; satata — constantly; asate — mundane matters; mati — mind; nāhi — no; sukṛti — pious or spiritual merit; laba — a small fraction; leśa — iota; śrībṛndābana — Śrī Vṛndāvana; yugala — Divine Couple; bhajana — worship; dhana — treasure; tāhe — in that; karala upadeśa — he gave instructions
I am wicked and helpless, and my mind is constantly absorbed in mundane matters; I do not possess even one iota of devotional merit. Yet he still instructs me about Śrī Vṛndāvana and the treasure of bhajana of the Divine Couple.
নিরমলগৌর, প্রেমরস সিঞ্চনে,
পূরল জগজন আশ
সো চরণাম্বুজে, রতি নাহি হোয়ল,
রোয়ত বৈষ্ণবদাস ৪

so caraṇāmbuje, rati nāhi hoyala,
royata baiṣṇaba-dāsa 4
niramala — pure; gaura — Gaura; premarasa — love + nectar; siñcane — he sprinkles, showers; pūrala — fulfilled; jagajana — the people of this world; āśa — desires; so — those; caraṇāmbuje — feet + for the lotus-like; rati — attachment; nāhi — not; hoyala — happened, born; royata — weeps; baiṣṇaba dāsa — Śrī Vaiṣṇav dās
Showering the world with the pure nectar of gaura-prema, śrī guru fulfills everyone’s hopes. Having not developed rati for his lotus feet, this Vaiṣṇava dāsa weeps.
