শ্রীগুরুচরণপদ্ম, কেবল ভকতিসদ্ম,
বন্দো মুইং সাবধানমতে
যাংহার প্রসাদে ভাই, এ ভব তরিয়া যাই,
ক্ড়্ষ্ণপ্রাপ্তি হয় যাংহা হঽতে ১

bando muĩ sābadhāna-mate
yā̃hāra prasāde bhāi, e bhaba tariyā yāi,
kṛṣṇa-prāpti haya yā̃hā ha’te 1

The lotus feet of śrī guru are the treasure house of unalloyed prema-bhakti. I worship those lotus feet with great care. By the mercy of śrī guru, O brother, one can cross over the material universe and attain Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
গুরুমুখপদ্মবাক্য, চিত্তেতে করিয়া ঐক্য,
আর না করিহ মনে আশা
শ্রীগুরুচরণে রতি, এই সেই উত্তমা গতি,
যেপ্রসাদে পূরে সর্ব আশা ২

āra nā kariha mane āśā
śrīguru-caraṇe rati, ei sei uttamā gati,
ye-prasāde pūre sarba āśā 2
guru — śrī guru; mukha padma — mouth + lotus; bākya — words; cittete — in heart; kariyā — having made; aikya — one; āra — anything else; nā — not; kariha — do; mane — within heart; āśā — aspire; śrīguru — śrī guru; caraṇe — for the feet; rati — attachment; ei sei — this and this alone; uttamā — greatest; gati — attainment; ye — which; prasāde — by mercy; pūre — fulfills; sarba — all; āśā — desires
Make the words emanating from the lotus mouth of śrī guru one with your heart and do not aspire for anything else. Attachment to the lotus feet of śrī guru is the greatest attainment. By his mercy, all desires are fulfilled.
চক্ষুদান দিলা যেই, জন্মে জন্মে প্রভু সেই,
দিব্যজ্ঞান হ্ড়্দে প্রকাশিত
প্রেমভক্তি যাংহা হৈতে, অবিদ্যা বিনাশ যাতে,

cakṣu-dāna dilā yei, janme janme prabhu sei,
dibyajñāna hṛde prakāśita
prema-bhakti yā̃hā haite, abidyā bināśa yāte,
bede gāya yā̃hāra carita 3
cakṣu — vision; dāna — gift; dilā — gave; yei — he who; janme janme — birth after birth; prabhu — master; sei — he alone; dibyajñāna — transcendental + knowledge; hṛde — in heart; prakāśita — he manifests; prema bhakti — loving devotion; yā̃hā — whom; haite — by; abidyā — ignorance; bināśa — destroyed; yāte — by whom; bede — by the Vedic scriptures; gāya — sing; yā̃hāra — whose; carita — character
He who gives the gift of transcendental vision is my master birth after birth. He manifests divine knowledge within one’s heart. From him prema-bhakti emanates, and by him ignorance is destroyed. The Vedic scriptures sing of his exalted character.
শ্রীগুরু করুণাসিন্ধু, অধম জনার বন্ধু,
‘লোকনাথঽ লোকের জীবন
হা হা প্রভো! কর দয়া, দেহঽ মোরে পদছায়া,
তুয়া পদে লইনু শরণ ৪

‘lokanātha’ lokera jībana
hā hā prabho! kara dayā, deha’ more pada-chāyā,

Śrī guru is an ocean of mercy, the friend of the fallen, and the life and soul of everyone. Alas, O Master! Please be merciful and give me the shade of your lotus feet. At your feet I have surrendered.
