জয় জয় জগন্নাথ শচীর নন্দন
ত্রিভুবন করে যাংঽর চরণ বন্দন ১
jaya jaya jagannātha śacīra nandana
tribhubana kare yā̃’ra caraṇa bandana 1
jaya jaya — all glories, all glories; jagannātha śacīra — of Jagannātha Miśra and Śacī-devī; nandana — the son; tribhubana — three worlds; kare — perform; yā̃’ra — whose; caraṇa — feet; bandana — worship
All glories, all glories to the dear son of Jagannātha Miśra and Śacī-devī. His lotus feet are worshiped by the three worlds.
নীলাচলে শঙ্খচক্রগদাপদ্মধর
নদীয়া নগরে দণ্ডকমণ্ডলুকর ২
nīlācale śaṅkha-cakra-gadā-padmadhara
nadīyā nagare daṇḍa-kamaṇḍalu-kara 2
nīlācale — in Nīlācala; śaṅkha — conchshell; cakra — disc; gadā — club; padmadhara — lotus flower + He holds; nadīyā — Nadīyā; nagare — in the town; daṇḍa — the staff of a renunciant; kamaṇḍalu — a water pot; kara — in the hands
In Nīlācala He holds the conchshell, disc, club, and lotus flower, while in the town of Nadīyā He holds the staff of a renunciant and a water pot.
কেহ বলে, —‘পূরবেতে রাবণ বধিলা ঽ
গোলোকের বৈভব লীলা প্রকাশ করিলা ৩
keha bale, —‘pūrabete rābaṇa badhilā ’
golokera baibhaba līlā prakāśa karilā 3
keha — some; bale — say; pūrabete — in a previous age; rābaṇa — the demon Rāvaṇa; badhilā — He killed; golokera — Goloka’s; baibhaba — glorious; līlā — pastimes; prakāśa karilā — He revealed
Some say that in a previous age He killed the demon Rāvaṇa. Then [as Lord Kṛṣṇa,] He revealed the glorious pastimes of Goloka.
শ্রীরাধার ভাবে এবে গোরা অবতার
‘হরে ক্ড়্ষ্ণঽনাম গৌর করিলা প্রচার ৪
śrīrādhāra bhābe ebe gorā abatāra
‘hare kṛṣṇa’-nāma gaura karilā pracāra 4
śrīrādhāra — of Śrī Rādhā; bhābe — in estatic moods; ebe — now; gorā — Gaurāṅga (or golden); abatāra — incarnation; hare kṛṣṇa’ — Hare Kṛṣṇa; nāma — the names; gaura — Gaurāṅga; karilā pracāra — He preached
Now, accepting the bhāva of Śrī Rādhā, He has come as the golden avatāra. Lord Gaura preaches the [chanting of the] Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra.
বাসুদেব ঘোষ বলে করিঽ যোḓঅ হাত
যেই গৌর, সেই ক্ড়্ষ্ণ, সেই জগন্নাথ ৫
bāsudeba ghoṣa bale kari’ yoḓa hāta
yei gaura, sei kṛṣṇa, sei jagannātha 5
bāsudeba ghoṣa — Vāsudeva Ghoṣa; bale — says; kari’ yoḓa — having folded; hāta — hands; yei — He who; gaura — Gaura; sei — He; kṛṣṇa — Kṛṣṇa; sei — He; jagannātha — Jagannātha
With folded hands, Vāsudeva Ghoṣa says, “He who is Gaura is also Kṛṣṇa, as well as Jagannātha.”
