এ ঘোরসংসারে, পḓইয়া মানব,
না পায় দুঃখের শেষ
সাধুসঙ্গ করিঽ, হরিভজে যদি,
তবে অন্ত হয় ক্লেশ ১

nā pāya duḥkhera śeṣa
sādhusaṅga kari’, hari-bhaje yadi,
tabe anta haya kleśa 1
e — this; ghora — dreadful, ghastly; saṁsāre — in material world; paḓiyā — having fallen; mānaba — a human being; nā — not; pāya — get; duḥkhera — of sufferings; śeṣa — end; sādhusaṅga — association of devotees; kari’ — having stayed; hari — Śrī Hari; bhaje — serves; yadi — if; tabe — then; anta haya — ceases; kleśa — sufferings
Having fallen into this dreadful material world, a human being finds no end to his miseries. If he takes the association of devotees and serves Śrī Hari, then his sufferings will cease.
সংসারঅনলে, জ্বলিছে হ্ড়্দয়,
অনলে বাḓঅয়ে অনল
অপরাধ ছাḓইঽ, লয় ক্ড়্ষ্ণনাম,
অনলে পḓঅয়ে জল ২

saṁsāra — material existence; anale — in the fire; jbaliche — burns; hṛdaya — heart; anale — with fire; bāḓaye — increases; anala — fire; aparādha — offenses; chāḓi’ — having left, having given up; laya — taking; kṛṣṇanāma — the names of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; anale — on the fire; paḓaye — pours; jala — water
His heart is burning in the fire of material existence, which is continually increasing on its own. Chanting the names of Kṛṣṇa while avoiding offenses pours water on that fire.
নিতাইচৈতন্য, চরণকমলে,
আশ্রয় লইল যেই
ক্ড়্ষ্ণদাস বলে, জীবনমরণে,
আমার আশ্রয় সেই ৩

nitāi caitanya — Nitāi-Caitanya; caraṇa — feet; kamale — on the lotus-like; āśraya — shelter; la·ila — took; yei — who; kṛṣṇadāsa — Kṛṣṇadāsa; bale — says; jībana — in life; maraṇe — in death; āmāra — my; āśraya — shelter; sei — they
Kṛṣṇadāsa says, “He who has taken shelter of the lotus feet of Nitāi-Caitanya is my shelter in life and in death.”
