‘গৌরাঙ্গঽ বলিতে হবে পুলক শরীর
‘হরি হরিঽ বলিতে নয়নে বঽবে নীর ১

‘hari hari’ balite nayane ba’be nīra 1
gaurāṅga’ — “Gaurāṅga”; balite — chanting; habe — will be; pulaka — horripilation; śarīra — body; hari hari’ — “Hari Hari”; balite — chanting; nayane — from eyes; ba’be — will flow; nīra — water
When will the hair on my body stand on end upon chanting, “Gaurāṅga”? When will my eyes overflow with tears upon chanting, “Hari Hari”?
আর কবে নিতাইচান্দের করুণা হইবে
সংসারবাসনা মোর কবে তুচ্ছ হঽবে ২
āra kabe nitāicā̃dera karuṇā ha·ibe
saṁsāra-bāsanā mora kabe tuccha ha’be 2
āra — and; kabe — when; nitāicā̃dera — the moon-like Nitāi; karuṇā — merciful; ha·ibe — will be; saṁsāra — worldy; bāsanā — desires; mora — my; kabe — when; tuccha — insignificant; ha’be — will be
And when will the moon-like Nityānanda Prabhu bestow His mercy upon me? When will my material desires become insignificant?
বিষয় ছাḓইয়া কবে শুদ্ধ হঽবে মন
কবে হাম হেরব শ্রীব্ড়্ন্দাবন ৩
biṣaya chāḓiyā kabe śuddha ha’be mana
kabe hāma heraba śrībṛndābana 3
biṣaya — material enjoyment; chāḓiyā — having renounced; kabe — when; śuddha — pure; ha’be — will be; mana — the mind; kabe — when; hāma — (āmi) I; heraba — will behold; śrībṛndābana — Śrī Vṛndāvana
When will my mind, as a result of my renouncing material enjoyment, become purified? When will I behold Śrī Vṛndāvana?
রূপরঘুনাথপদে হইবে আকুতি
কবে হাম বুঝব সে যুগলপীরিতি ৪
rūpa-raghunātha-pade ha·ibe ākuti
kabe hāma bujhaba se yugala-pīriti 4
rūpa raghunātha — Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī and Śrīla Radhunātha dāsa Gosvāmī; pade — for the feet; ha·ibe — will be; ākuti — (ārti, anurāg) eagerness, deep attachment; kabe — when; hāma — I; bujhaba — will understand; se — that; yugala — the Divine Couple; pīriti — the love
When will I develop eagerness for the lotus feet of Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī and Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī, by whose mercy I will be able to understand the love (prīti) of the Divine Couple?
রূপরঘুনাথপদে রহু মোর আশ
প্রার্থনা করয়ে সদা নরোত্তমদাস ৫
rūpa-raghunātha-pade rahu mora āśa
prārthanā karaye sadā narottamadāsa 5
rūpa raghunātha — Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī and Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī; pade — at the feet; rahu — remain; mora — my; āśa — aspirations; prārthanā karaye — prays; sadā — constantly; narottamadāsa — Narottama dāsa
“Let all my hopes and aspirations remain at the lotus feet of Śrī Rūpa and Śrī Raghunātha dāsa.” This is the constant prayer of Narottama dāsa.
