আমার হ্ড়্দয়ে ভোগ করে অনিবার ১

biṣaya — sense objects; bāsanārūpa — desire + in the form; cittera — of consciousness; bikāra — perversion; āmāra — my; hṛdaye — in heart; bhoga kare — enjoys; anibāra — constantly
My desire for sense objects is a perversion of consciousness which constantly impells my heart to [want to] enjoy.
কত যে যতন আমি করিলাম হায়
না গেল বিকার বুদ্ধি শেষে প্রাণ যায় ২
kata ye yatana āmi karilāma hāya
nā gela bikāra buddhi śeṣe prāṇa yāya 2
kata — how much; ye yatana — the endeavors; āmi — I; karilāma — did; hāya — alas; nā — not; gela — gone; bikāra — perverted; buddhi — intelligence; śeṣe — in the end; prāṇa — life; yāya — goes
Oh, how much effort I have made, but my perversion has not gone. In the end, my life goes instead!
এ ঘোর বিকার মোরে করিল অস্থির
শান্তি না পাইল স্থান, অন্তর অধীর ৩

śānti nā pāila sthāna, antara adhīra 3
e — this; ghora — frightful; bikāra — perversion; more — to me; karila asthira — perturbed; śānti — peace; nā — no; pāila — obtained; sthāna — place; antara — heart; adhīra — restless
This frightful perversion has perturbed me. Because my heart is restless, peace finds no place there.
শ্রীরূপ গোস্বামী মোরে ক্ড়্পা বিতরিয়া
উদ্ধারিবে কবে যুক্তবৈরাগ্য অর্পিয়া ৪

When will Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī bestow his mercy upon me and deliver me by investing me with yukta-vairāgya?
কবে সনাতন মোরে ছাḓআয়ে বিষয়
নিত্যানন্দে সমর্পিবে হইয়া সদয় ৫

When will Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī, out of great compassion, make me forsake sense gratification and then offer me to Śrī Nityānanda Prabhu?
শ্রীজীব গোস্বামী কবে সিদ্ধান্তসলিলে
নিভাইবে তর্কানল, চিত্ত যাহে জ্বলে ৬
śrījība gosbāmī kabe siddhānta-salile
nibhāibe tarkānala, citta yāhe jbale 6
śrījība gosbāmī — Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī; kabe — when; siddhānta — conclusive truth; salile — with water; nibhāibe — he will extinguish; tarkānala — arguments + the fire; citta — heart; yāhe — in which; jbale — burns
When will Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī, with the waters of conclusive truth, extinguish the fire of false arguments, which are burning my heart?
শ্রীচৈতন্যনাম শুনে উদিবে পুলক
রাধাক্ড়্ষ্ণাম্ড়্তপানে হইব অশোক ৭
śrīcaitanya-nāma śune udibe pulaka
rādhākṛṣṇāmṛta-pāne ha·iba aśoka 7
śrīcaitanya nāma — the name of Śrī Caitanya; śune — having heard; udibe — will arise; pulaka — horripilation; rādhākṛṣṇāmṛta — Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa + nectar; pāne — having drunk; ha·iba — I shall become; aśoka — free from grief
At that time, hearing the name of Śrī Caitanya will cause ecstatic horripilation in my body. By drinking the nectar of Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, I shall become free from all grief.
কাঙ্গালের সুকাঙ্গাল দুর্জন এজন
বৈষ্ণবচরণাশ্রয় যাচে অকিঞ্চন ৮
kāṅgālera sukāṅgāla durjana e-jana
baiṣṇaba-caraṇāśraya yāce akiñcana 8
kāṅgālera — of the wretched; sukāṅgāla — most wretched; durjana — sinful; e — this; jana — person; baiṣṇaba — Vaiṣṇavas; caraṇāśraya — feet + shelter; yāce — begs; akiñcana — destitute person
This sinful person is the most wretched among the wretched. This destitute soul begs for shelter at the lotus feet of the Vaiṣṇavas.
