অনন্ত কহিতে নাহি পারে
ক্ড়্ষ্ণ জগতের গুরু, ক্ড়্ষ্ণ বাঞ্ছাকল্পতরু,
নাবিক সে ভবপারাবারে ১

śuna — listen; he — O; rasika jana — those who relish rasa; kṛṣṇagaṇa — the qualities of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; agaṇana — innumerable; ananta — Lord Ananta; kahite — to speak; nāhi pāre — cannot; kṛṣṇa — Śrī Kṛṣṇa; jagatera — of the universe; guru — the spiritual master; kṛṣṇa — Śrī Kṛṣṇa; bāñchākalpataru — wish-fulfilling desire-tree; nābika — the navigator; se — he; bhaba — material existence; pārābāre — across the ocean
Listen, O those who relish nectarean mellows, the transcendental qualities of Śrī Kṛṣṇa are innumerable. Even Lord Ananta [who has millions of hoods and mouths] cannot describe them all. Kṛṣṇa is the spiritual master of the entire universe, He is a wish-fulfilling desire-tree, and He is the navigator, guiding us across the ocean of material existence.
হ্ড়্দয়পীḓইত যাঽর, ক্ড়্ষ্ণচিকিৎসক তাঽর,
ভবরোগ নাশিতে চতুর
ক্ড়্ষ্ণ বহির্মুখজনে, প্রেমাম্ড়্তবিতরণে,
ক্রমে লয় নিজ অন্তঃপুর ২
hṛdaya-pīḓita yā’ra, kṛṣṇa-cikitsaka tā’ra,
bhaba-roga nāśite catura
kṛṣṇa bahirmukha-jane, premāmṛta-bitaraṇe,
krame laya nija antaḥpura 2
hṛdaya — hearts; pīḓita — injured, afflicted, ill; yā’ra — whose; kṛṣṇa — Śrī Kṛṣṇa; cikitsaka — doctor; tā’ra — of them; bhaba — of material existence; roga — the disease; nāśite — at destroying; catura — expert; kṛṣṇa bahirmukha — averse to Śrī Kṛṣṇa; jane — to people; premāmṛta — divine love + nectar; bitaraṇe — He distributes; krame — gradually; laya — takes; nija — His own; antaḥpura — confidential realm, internal abode
For those whose hearts are ill, Kṛṣṇa is the doctor; He is expert at destroying the disease of material existence. By distributing the nectar of prema to all those who are averse to Him, He gradually takes them to His own confidential realm.
কর্মবন্ধজ্ঞানবন্ধ, আবেশে মানব অন্ধ,
তাঽরে ক্ড়্ষ্ণ করুণাসাগর
পাদপদ্মমধু দিয়া, অন্ধভাব ঘুচাইয়া,
চরণে করেন অনুচর ৩

tā’re kṛṣṇa karuṇā-sāgara
pādapadma-madhu diyā, andhabhāba ghucāiyā,
caraṇe karena anucara 3
karmabandha — the bindings of frutive activities; jñānabandha — the bindings of dry knowledge; ābeśe — by absorption; mānaba — human beings; andha — blind; tā’re — to them; kṛṣṇa — Kṛṣṇa; karuṇā — of mercy; sāgara — an ocean; pādapadma — feet + lotus; madhu — honey; diyā — giving; andhabhāba — blindness; ghucāiyā — removing; caraṇe — of the feet; karena — He makes; anucara — a servant
Human beings are blinded by their absorption in the bindings of karma and jñāna, but Kṛṣṇa, who is an ocean of mercy, removes their blindness by granting them the honey of His lotus feet. In this way, He makes them servants of those lotus feet.
বিধিমার্গরতজনে, স্বাধীনতা রত্নদানে,
রাগমার্গে করান প্রবেশ
রাগবশবর্তী হঽয়ে, পারকীয়ভাবাশ্রয়ে,
লভে জীব ক্ড়্ষ্ণপ্রেমাবেশ ৪
bidhimārgarata-jane, sbādhīnatā ratnadāne,
rāgamārge karāna prabeśa
rāga-baśabartī ha’ye, pārakīya-bhābāśraye,
labhe jība kṛṣṇapremābeśa 4
bidhimārgarata — regulative principles + the path + devoted to; jane — to people; sbādhīnatā — independence; ratnadāne — the jewel + by awarding; rāgamārge — of spontaneous attachment + on the path; karāna — He causes; prabeśa — enterance; rāga — by spontaneous attachment; baśabartī — under the control; ha’ye — being; pārakīya — paramour; bhābāśraye — love + in the shelter; labhe — attains; jība — the soul; kṛṣṇapremābeśa — love for Kṛṣṇa + rapture
By granting the jewel of independence to those following vidhi-mārga, the path of regulative principles, He allows them to enter rāga-mārga, the path of spontaneous loving attachment. Being controlled by such attachment and taking shelter of parakīya-bhāva (paramour love), the jīva attains ecstatic love for Kṛṣṇa.
প্রেমাম্ড়্তবারিধারা, সদা পানরত তাংঽরা,
ক্ড়্ষ্ণ তাংহাদের বন্ধু, পতি
সেইসব ব্রজজন, সুকল্যাণনিকেতন,
দীন হীন বিনোদের গতি ৫
premāmṛta-bāridhārā, sadā pānarata tā̃’rā,
kṛṣṇa tā̃hādera bandhu, pati
seisaba brajajana, sukalyāṇa-niketana,
dīna hīna binodera gati 5
premāmṛta — of divine love + the nectar; bāridhārā — a shower or stream or torrent of rain; sadā — always; pānarata — in drinking + engaged; tā̃’rā — they all; kṛṣṇa — Śrī Kṛṣṇa; tā̃hādera — their; bandhu — friend; pati — master; seisaba — these + all; brajajana — residents of Vraja; sukalyāṇa — of auspiciousness; niketana — abodes; dīna — poor; hīna — fallen; binodera — of Bhaktivinoda; gati — the refuge
Such devotees are always engaged in drinking from the stream of the nectar of prema, for Kṛṣṇa is their friend and master. These residents of Vraja, who are abodes of auspiciousness, are the refuge of the poor and fallen Bhaktivinoda.
