জয় জয় অদ্বৈত আচার্য দয়াময়

যাংঽর হুহুঙ্কারে গৌরঅবতার হয় ১

jaya jaya adbaita ācārya dayāmaya

jaya jayaall glories, all glories; adbaita ācāryato Advaita Ācārya; dayāmayafull of mercy; yā̃’rawhose; huhuṅkāreby loud roar; gaura abatārathe descent of Śrī Gaurāṅga; hayahappens

All glories, all glories to the greatly merciful Advaita Ācārya. It was due to his loud roar that Śrī Gaura descended.

প্রেমদাতা সীতানাথ করুণাসাগর

যাংঽর প্রেমরসে আইলা ব্রজের নাগর ২

premadātāgiver of divine love; sītānāthalord of Sīta-devī; karuṇā sāgaraocean of compassion; yā̃’rawhose; premaraseby nectarean love; āilācame; brajeraof Vraja; nāgarathe hero

He is the giver of prema, the lord of Sīta-devī, and an ocean of compassion. Due to his nectarean love, the hero of Vraja came again.

যাহারে করুণা করিঽ ক্ড়্পা দিতে চায়

প্রেমরসে সেজন চৈতন্যগুণ গায় ৩

yāhāre karuṇā kari’ kṛpā dite cāya

prema-rase se-jana caitanya-guṇa gāya 3

yāhāreto whomever; karuṇā kari’mercifully; kṛpāgrace; diteto give; cāyahe wants; premalove; rasein the humors, nectar, mellows; sethat; janaperson; caitanyaCaitanya Mahāprabhu; guṇaqualities, glories; gāyasings

To whomever he wants to mercifully bestow his grace, that person sings the glories of Caitanya Mahāprabhu, submerged in prema-rasa.

তাংহার পদেতে যেবা লইল শরণ

সেজন পাইল গৌরপ্রেমমহাধন ৪

tā̃hāra padete yebā la·ila śaraṇa

se-jana pāila gauraprema-mahādhana 4

tā̃hārahis; padeteof feet; yebāhe who; la·ilatook; śaraṇashelter; sethat; janaperson; pāilaattained; gaurapremalove of Gaurāṅga; mahādhanasupreme wealth

He who takes shelter of his lotus feet attains the supreme wealth of gaura-prema.

এমন দয়ার নিধি কেনে না ভজিলুং

লোচন বলে নিজমাথে বজর পাḓইলুং ৫

emana dayāra nidhi kene nā bhajilũ

locana bale nija-māthe bajara pāḓilũ 5

emanasuch; dayāraof mercy; nidhitreasure-house; kenewhy; not; bhajilũI have worshiped; locanaLocana dāsa; balesays; nijamy own; mātheto head; bajarathunderbolt; pāḓilũhave struck

Locana dāsa says, “Why have I not worshiped such a treasure-house of mercy? Instead, I have struck my own head with a thunderbolt!”
