এখন বুঝিনু প্রভু! তোমার চরণ
অশোকাভয়াম্ড়্ত পূর্ণ সর্বক্ষণ ১
ekhana bujhinu prabhu! tomāra caraṇa
aśokābhayāmṛta pūrṇa sarbakṣaṇa 1
ekhana — now; bujhinu — I have understood; prabhu — O Lord; tomāra — Your; caraṇa — feet; aśokābhayāmṛta — freedom from grief + freedom from fear + nectar; pūrṇa — complete, full; sarbakṣaṇa — all + moments
I have finally understood, O Master, that Your lotus feet incessantly bestow utter ambrosia and complete freedom from fear and despair.
সকল ছাḓইয়া তুয়া চরণকমলে
পḓইয়াছি আমি, নাথ! তব পদতলে ২
sakala chāḓiyā tuyā caraṇakamale
paḓiyāchi āmi, nātha! taba padatale 2
sakala — everything; chāḓiyā — having left, given up; tuyā — Your; caraṇakamale — feet + at lotus; paḓiyāchi — I have fallen; āmi — I; nātha — O Lord; taba — Your; padatale — feet + at the soles, beneath
Leaving everything behind, I have fallen at Your lotus feet, O Lord.
তব পাদপদ্ম, নাথ! রক্ষিবে আমারে
আর রক্ষাকর্তা নাহি এ ভবসংসারে ৩
taba pādapadma, nātha! rakṣibe āmāre
āra rakṣākartā nāhi e bhaba-saṁsāre 3
taba — Your; pādapadma — feet + lotus; nātha — O Lord; rakṣibe — (rakṣā kôribe) shall protect; āmāre — to me; āra — other; rakṣākartā — protector; nāhi — not; e — this; bhaba saṁsāre — in material existence
Your lotus feet shall protect me, my guardian! There is no other protector within this material world.
আমি তব নিত্যদাস—জানিনু এবার
আমার পালনভার এখন তোমার ৪
āmi taba nityadāsa—jāninu ebāra
āmāra pālana-bhāra ekhana tomāra 4
āmi — I; taba — Your; nityadāsa — eternal + servant; jāninu — I have realized; ebāra — this + time; āmāra — my; pālana — upkeep, maintaince; bhāra — burden, responsibility; ekhana — now; tomāra — Yours
I am Your eternal servitor; I realize this at long last. The burden of my upkeep is now Your concern.
বḓঅ দুঃখ পাইয়াছি স্বতন্ত্র জীবনে
সব দুঃখ দূরে গেল ওপদ বরণে ৫
baḓa duḥkha pāiyāchi sbatantra jībane
saba duḥkha dūre gela o-pada baraṇe 5
baḓa — great; duḥkha — sorrow, despair, grief, suffering; pāiyāchi — I have gotten; sbatantra — (anāśrita) independent (unsheltered); jībane — in life; saba — all; duḥkha — grief; dūre — far away; gela — gone; o — those; pada — feet; baraṇe — by accepting
I have suffered great despair in a life of independence. By accepting the shelter of Your lotus feet, however, all grief has been banished.
যেপদ লাগিয়া রমা তপস্যা করিলা
যেপদ পাইয়া শিব শিবত্ব লভিলা ৬
ye-pada lāgiyā ramā tapasyā karilā
ye-pada pāiyā śiba śibatba labhilā 6
ye — which; pada — feet; lāgiyā — for the sake; ramā — Ramā-devī, Lakṣmī-devī; tapasyā — penances, austerities; karilā — performed; ye — which; pada — feet; pāiyā — having attained; śiba — Lord Śiva; śibatba — the state of being Śiva, propitious nature; labhilā — acquired, attained
Those feet, for the sake of which Ramā-devī (the goddess of fortune) practices severe penance and attaining which Lord Śiva acquired his propitious nature (śivatva)…
যেপদ লভিয়া ব্রহ্মা ক্ড়্তার্থ হইলা
যেপদ নারদমুনি হ্ড়্দয়ে ধরিলা ৭
ye-pada labhiyā brahmā kṛtārtha ha·ilā
ye-pada nāradamuni hṛdaye dharilā 7
ye — which; pada — feet; labhiyā — having attained; brahmā — Lord Brahmā; kṛtārtha — successful, gratified; ha·ilā — became; ye — which; pada — feet; nāradamuni — Nārada Muni; hṛdaye — in heart; dharilā — held, embraced
…those feet, attaining which Lord Brahmā fulfilled the purpose of his existence and which Nārada Muni embraces in his heart…
সেই সে অভয় পদ শিরেতে ধরিয়া
পরমআনন্দে নাচি পদগুণ গাইয়া ৮
sei se abhaya pada śirete dhariyā
parama-ānande nāci padaguṇa gāiyā 8
sei se — those very; abhaya — fearless; pada — feet; śirete — on head; dhariyā — having held; parama — supreme; ānande — in delight, bliss; nāci — I dance; padaguṇa — feet + virtues, glories, qualities; gāiyā — having sung
…those very feet, the shelter of which award fearlessness, I bear upon my head. In supreme delight, I dance and sing of their virtues.
সংসারবিপদ্ হঽতে অবশ্য উদ্ধার
ভকতিবিনোদে, ওপদ করিবে তোমার ৯
saṁsāra-bipad ha’te abaśya uddhāra
bhakatibinode, o-pada karibe tomāra 9
saṁsāra — worldly existence; bipad — calamities; ha’te — from; abaśya — certainly; uddhāra — deliver; bhakatibinode — Bhaktivinoda; o — those; pada — feet; karibe — will do; tomāra — Your
Your feet will certainly deliver this Bhaktivinoda from the calamities of worldly existence.
