বৈষ্ণব ঠাকুর, দয়ার সাগর,
এ দাসে করুণা করিঽ
দিয়া পদছায়া, শোধ হে আমারে,
তোমার চরণ ধরি ১

ohe — O; baiṣṇaba ṭhākura — venerable Vaiṣṇava; dayāra — of mercy; sāgara — ocean; e — this; dāse — to servant; karuṇā kari’ — being compassionate; diyā — having given; padachāyā — feet + shade; śodha — purify; he — oh; āmāre — to me; tomāra — your; caraṇa — feet; dhari — I hold
O Vaiṣṇava Ṭhākura, you are an ocean of mercy. Being compassionate upon this servant, purify me by giving me the shade of your feet, of which I take hold.
ছয় বেগ দমিঽ, ছয় দোষ শোধিঽ,
ছয় গুণ দেহ দাসে
ছয় সৎসঙ্গ, দেহঽ হে আমারে,
বসেছি সঙ্গের আশে ২

chaya guṇa deha dāse
chaya satsaṅga, deha’ he āmāre,
basechi saṅgera āśe 2
chaya — six; bega — urges; dami’ — having subdued; chaya — six; doṣa — faults; śodhi’ — having purified; chaya — six; guṇa — qualities; deha — bestow; dāse — to the servant; chaya — six; satsaṅga — pure association; deha’ — give; he — oh; āmāre — to me; basechi — I sat, I waited; saṅgera — of association ; āśe — in hope
Help me to subdue the six urges and purify my six faults. Bestow upon this servant the six qualities of a devotee and give me the six kinds of devotional association. I am waiting in hope of attaining your association.
একাকী আমার, নাহি পায় বল,
হরিনামসঙ্কীর্তনে
তুমি ক্ড়্পা করিঽ, শ্রদ্ধাবিন্দু দিয়া,
দেহঽ ক্ড়্ষ্ণনামধনে ৩
ekākī āmāra, nāhi pāya bala,
harināma-saṅkīrtane
tumi kṛpā kari’, śraddhābindu diyā,
deha’ kṛṣṇanāma-dhane 3
ekākī — alone; āmāra — my; nāhi — not; pāya — I get; bala — strength; harināma saṅkīrtane — for harināma-saṅkīrtan; tumi — you; kṛpā kari’ — having become merciful; śraddhābindu — faith + a drop; diyā — having given; deha’ — give; kṛṣṇanāma — the name of Kṛṣṇa; dhane — by the treasure
Alone I do not have the strength to perform harināma-saṅkīrtana. Being kind and giving me one drop of faith, bestow upon me the priceless treasure of kṛṣṇa-nāma.
ক্ড়্ষ্ণ সে তোমার, ক্ড়্ষ্ণ দিতে পার,
তোমার শকতি আছে
আমি তঽ কাঙ্গাল, ‘ক্ড়্ষ্ণ ক্ড়্ষ্ণঽ বলিঽ,
ধাই তব পাছে পাছে ৪

tomāra śakati āche
āmi ta’ kāṅgāla, ‘kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa’ bali’,
dhāi taba pāche pāche 4
kṛṣṇa — Kṛṣṇa; se — He; tomāra — yours; kṛṣṇa — Kṛṣṇa; dite — to give; pāra — you can; tomāra — your; śakati — power; āche — is there; āmi — I; ta’ — just; kāṅgāla — a begger; kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa’ — “Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa”; bali’ — having called; dhāi — I run; taba — your; pāche pāche — following behind
Kṛṣṇa is yours, so you have the power to give Kṛṣṇa. I am only a beggar running behind you, calling out “Kṛṣṇa! Kṛṣṇa!”.
