হরি হরি কবে মোর হবে হেন দিন
বিমল বৈষ্ণবে, রতি উপজিবে,
বাসনা হইবে ক্ষীণ ১

hari hari — O Hari; kabe — when; mora — mine; habe — will be; hena — such; dina — a day; bimala — pure; baiṣṇabe — for Vaiṣṇavas; rati — attachment; upajibe — will grow, develop; bāsanā — desires; ha·ibe — will be; kṣīṇa — subdued
O Hari! When will such a day be mine? I shall develop attachment to pure-hearted Vaiṣṇavas, by which my material desires will be subdued.
অন্তরবাহিরে, সম ব্যবহার,
অমানী মানদ হঽব
ক্ড়্ষ্ণসঙ্কীর্তনে, শ্রীক্ড়্ষ্ণস্মরণে,
সতত মজিয়া রঽব ২
antara-bāhire, sama byabahāra,
amānī mānada ha’ba
kṛṣṇa-saṅkīrtane, śrīkṛṣṇa-smaraṇe,
satata majiyā ra’ba 2
antara bāhire — inside and outside; sama — same; byabahāra — behavior; amānī — without desire for honor; mānada — giving honor to others; ha’ba — I shall become; kṛṣṇa — Śrī Kṛṣṇa; saṅkīrtane — in congregational chanting of the name and glories; śrīkṛṣṇa — Śrī Kṛṣṇa smaraṇe; satata — constantly; majiyā — having become drowned, absorbed, having lost myself; ra’ba — I shall remain
No disparity shall remain between my internal and external behavior. I shall not desire honor for myself and shall instead offer respect to others. I shall remain constantly absorbed in chanting Kṛṣṇa's names and remembering Him.
এ দেহের ক্রিয়া, অভ্যাসে করিব,
জীবন যাপন লাগিঽ
শ্রীক্ড়্ষ্ণভজনে, অনুকূল যাহা,
তাহে হঽব অনুরাগী ৩

śrīkṛṣṇa-bhajane, anukūla yāhā,
tāhe ha’ba anurāgī 3
e — this; dehera — of body; kriyā — activities; abhyāse — by habit; kariba — I shall perform; jībana — life; yāpana — spending, passing; lāgi’ — for, for the sake of; śrīkṛṣṇa bhajane — in devotional service to Śrī Kṛṣṇa; anukūla — favorable; yāhā — whatever; tāhe — in that; ha’ba — I shall become; anurāgī — one who is attached or devoted, addicted or attraced (to)
I shall perform my bodily activities out of habit, just to maintain my life. I shall become attached only to that which is favorable to bhajana of Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
ভজনের যাহা, প্রতিকূল তাহা,
দ্ড়্ḓহভাবে তেয়াগিব
ভজিতে ভজিতে, সময় আসিলে,
এ দেহ ছাḓইয়া দিব ৪
bhajanera yāhā, pratikūla tāhā,
dṛḓhabhābe teyāgiba
bhajite bhajite, samaya āsile,
e deha chāḓiyā diba 4
bhajanera — for devotional service; yāhā — whatever is; pratikūla — unfavorable; tāhā — all that; dṛḓhabhābe — firmly; teyāgiba — I shall renounce, reject; bhajite bhajite — worshiping and worshiping; samaya — the time; āsile — if it comes; e — this; deha — body; chāḓiyā diba — I shall give up
I shall firmly reject whatever is unfavorable for bhajana. Absorbed in bhajana, when the time comes, I shall readily give up this body.
ভকতিবিনোদ, এই আশা করিঽ,
বসিয়া গোদ্রুমবনে
প্রভুক্ড়্পা লাগিঽ, ব্যাকুল অন্তরে,
সদা কান্দে সঙ্গোপনে ৫

basiyā godruma-bane
prabhu-kṛpā lāgi’, byākula antare,
sadā kā̃de saṅgopane 5
bhakatibinoda — Bhaktivinod; ei — this; āśā kari’ — having desired; basiyā — having sat; godruma bane — in the forest of Godruma; prabhu — the Lord; kṛpā — mercy; lāgi’ — for; byākula — anxious; antare — at heart, within; sadā — always; kā̃de — he weeps; saṅgopane — in complete concealment or secrecy, secretly, unobservedly
With these aspirations, Bhaktivinoda resides in the forest of Godruma. He always weeps in a solitary place, anxious at heart to receive the mercy of the Lord.
