O Vaiṣṇava Gosāi, be merciful to me now. You are the savior of the fallen souls. Except for you, there is no one [who can deliver me].
কাহার নিকটে গেলে পাপ দূরে যায়
এমন দয়াল প্রভু কেবা কোথা পায় ২

emana dayāla prabhu kebā kothā pāya 2
kāhāra — whose; nikaṭe — near; gele — having gone; pāpa — sins; dūre — far away; yāya — goes; emana — such; dayāla — a merciful; prabhu — master; kebā — who; kothā — where; pāya — get
Where can one find such a merciful personality by whose mere proximity one’s sins go far away?
গঙ্গার পরশ হইলে পশ্চাতে পাবন
দর্শনে পবিত্র কর—এই তোমার গুণ ৩
gaṅgāra paraśa ha·ile paścāte pābana
darśane pabitra kara—ei tomāra guṇa 3
gaṅgāra — the Gaṅgā’s; paraśa — touch; ha·ile — if it happens; paścāte — after; pābana — purified; darśane — by having audience; pabitra kara — you purify; ei — this; tomāra — your; guṇa — quailty
Only after touching the Gaṅgā does one become purified, but simply by seeing you, one is purified. This is your great quality.
হরিস্থানে অপরাধে তারেঽ হরিনাম
তোমাঽস্থানে অপরাধে নাহিক এḓআন ৪
hari-sthāne aparādhe tāre’ harināma
tomā’-sthāne aparādhe nāhika eḓāna 4
hari sthāne — toward Śrī Hari; aparādhe — by offenses; tāre’ — absolves; harināma — the names of Hari; tomā’ sthāne — toward you; aparādhe — by offenses; nāhika — there is not; eḓāna — avoidance
Offenses committed at the lotus feet of Śrī Hari are absolved by harināma, but for offenses against you there is absolutely no means of deliverance.
তোমার হ্ড়্দয়ে সদা গোবিন্দ বিশ্রাম
গোবিন্দ কহেন,—মম বৈষ্ণব পরাণ ৫
tomāra hṛdaye sadā gobinda biśrāma
gobinda kahena,—mama baiṣṇaba parāṇa 5
tomāra — your; hṛdaye — in heart; sadā — always; gobinda — Lord Govinda; biśrāma — rests; gobinda — Govinda; kahena — says; mama — My; baiṣṇaba — Vaiṣṇavas; parāṇa — life, soul
Śrī Govinda is always resting in your heart. Govinda thus says, “The Vaiṣṇavas are My life and soul!”
প্রতিজন্মে করি আশা চরণের ধূলি
নরোত্তমে কর দয়া আপনার বলিঽ ৬
pratijanme kari āśā caraṇera dhūli
narottame kara dayā āpanāra bali’ 6
pratijanme — every + in birth; kari āśā — I aspire; caraṇera — of feet; dhūli — dust; narottame — to Narottama dāsa; kara dayā — give mercy; āpanāra — yours; bali’ — having considered, called
In every birth, I aspire for the dust of your lotus feet. Be compassionate to this Narottama dāsa and consider me your own.
