In a very sweet voice, Śrī Gaurāṅga sings, “Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare, Hare Rāma Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma Hare Hare.”
গ্ঢ়ে থাক, বনে থাক, সদা ‘হরিঽ বঽলে ডাক,
সুখে দুঃখে ভুল নাঽক,
বদনে হরিনাম কর রে ১
gṛhe thāka, bane thāka, sadā ‘hari’ ba’le ḍāka,
sukhe duḥkhe bhula nā’ka,
badane harināma kara re 1
gṛhe — at home; thāka — you stay; bane — in the forest; thāka — you stay; sadā — always; hari’ — ‘Hari’; ba’le — having said; ḍāka — call out; sukhe — in happiness; duḥkhe — in distress; bhula — forgot; nā’ka — not; badane — with lips; harināma kara — chant the names of Hari; re — oh
Whether you live at home [as a householder] or in the forest [as a renunciant], constantly chant, “Hari, Hari!” In happiness or in distress, do not ever forget this chanting—just fill your lips with the names of Śrī Hari.
মায়াজালে বদ্ধ হঽয়ে, আছ মিছে কাজ লঽয়ে,
এখনও চেতন পেঽয়ে,
রাধামাধব নাম বল রে ২
māyājāle baddha ha’ye, ācha miche kāja la’ye,
ekhanao cetana pe’ye,
rādhā-mādhaba nāma bala re 2
māyājāle — Māyā + in the net, snare, trap; baddha — bound; ha’ye — having become; ācha — you are; miche — in useless; kāja — work; la’ye — having taken; ekhanao — now; cetana — consciousness; pe’ye — having attained; rādhā mādhaba — Rādhā-Mādhava; nāma — names; bala — chant; re — oh
Bound up in the net of māyā, you are engaged in useless activities. Now attain full consciousness and chant the names of Rādhā-Mādhava.
জীবন হইল শেষ, না ভজিলে হ্ড়্ষীকেশ,
ভক্তিবিনোদ(এই) উপদেশ,
একবার নামরসে মাতরে ৩

bhaktibinoda-(ei) upadeśa,

Your life is coming to an end, but you have not worshiped Śrī Hṛṣīkeśa. Please heed this advice of Bhaktivinoda and just once relish the nectar of the holy name!
