শ্রীরাধাক্ড়্ষ্ণপদকমলে মন
কেমনে লভিবে চরম শরণ ১
śrīrādhākṛṣṇa-padakamale mana
kemane labhibe carama śaraṇa 1
śrīrādhākṛṣṇa — Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa; padakamale — at the lotus feet; mana — O mind; kemane — how; labhibe — you will obtain; carama — ultimately; śaraṇa — shelter
O mind, how will you ultimately take shelter at the lotus feet of Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa?
চিরদিন করিয়া ওচরণআশ
আছে হে বসিয়া এ অধম দাস ২
ciradina kariyā o-caraṇa-āśa
āche he basiyā e adhama dāsa 2
ciradina — (bahu kāl) many days, long time; kariyā — having had; o — those; caraṇa — feet; āśa — the desire; āche — present here; he — oh; basiyā — having waited; e — this; adhama — wretched; dāsa — servant
Having had the desire to take shelter of those lotus feet since time immemorial, this wretched servant simply is waiting.
হে রাধে, হে ক্ড়্ষ্ণচন্দ্র ভক্তপ্রাণ
পামরে যুগলভক্তি করঽ দান ৩
he rādhe, he kṛṣṇacandra bhaktaprāṇa
pāmare yugala-bhakti kara’ dāna 3
he rādhe — O Rādhe; he kṛṣṇacandra — O moon-like Kṛṣṇa; bhaktaprāṇa — devotees + life, soul; pāmare — to this sinner; yugala — [You] two lovers; bhakti — devotion; kara’ dāna — bestow
O Rādhe, O Kṛṣṇa-candra, life and soul of the devotees! Please bestow upon this most sinful person bhakti to both of You.
ভক্তিহীন বলিঽ না করঽ উপেক্ষা
মূর্খজনে দেহঽ জ্ঞানসুশিক্ষা ৪
bhaktihīna bali’ nā kara’ upekṣā
mūrkhajane deha’ jñāna-suśikṣā 4
bhaktihīna — devotion + devoid; bali’ — having said; nā — not; kara’ — do; upekṣā — neglect; mūrkhajane — to this ignorant person; deha’ — give; jñāna — spiritual knowledge; suśikṣā — auspicious instructions
Please do not neglect me, saying that I am devoid of bhakti. Instead, give this ignorant person your auspicious instructions on spiritual knowledge.
বিষয়পিপাসাপ্রপীḓইত দাসে
দেহঽ অধিকার যুগলবিলাসে ৫
biṣaya-pipāsā-prapīḓita dāse
deha’ adhikāra yugala-bilāse 5
biṣaya — material enjoyment; pipāsā — a thirst; prapīḓita — afflicted; dāse — to this servant; deha’ — give; adhikāra — qualification; yugala — [You] two lovers; bilāse — in amorous pastimes
Please give this servant, who is afflicted by the thirst for material enjoyment, the qualification to serve in Your amorous pastimes.
চঞ্চল জীবন, স্রোত প্রবাহিয়া,
কালের সাগরে ধায়
গেল যে দিবস, না আসিবে আর,
এবে ক্ড়্ষ্ণ কি উপায় ৬
cañcala jībana-, srota prabāhiyā,
kālera sāgare dhāya
gela ye dibasa, nā āsibe āra,
ebe kṛṣṇa ki upāya 6
cañcala — restless; jībana — life; srota — current, stream; prabāhiyā — having flowed; kālera — of time [death]; sāgare — into the ocean; dhāya — runs; gela — gone; ye — these; dibasa — days; nā — not; āsibe — will come; āra — again; ebe — now; kṛṣṇa — Kṛṣṇa; ki — what; upāya — remedy, means to relieve or help
This restless current of life flows, running into the ocean of time [death]. The days that have gone will not come again. Alas, Kṛṣṇa, what am I to do now?
তুমি পতিতজনের বন্ধু
জানি হে তোমারে নাথ, তুমি তঽ করুণাজলসিন্ধু ৭
tumi patitajanera bandhu
jāni he tomāre nātha, tumi ta’ karuṇā-jalasindhu 7
tumi — You; patitajanera — of the fallen; bandhu — friends; jāni — I know; he — oh; tomāre — to You; nātha — O Masters; tumi — You; ta’ — indeed; karuṇā — kindness, compassion; jalasindhu — water + ocean
You are the friends of the fallen. I know who You are, my Masters! You are indeed the very ocean of kindness.
আমি ভাগ্যহীন, অতি অর্বাচীন,
না জানি ভকতিলেশ
নিজগুণে নাথ, করঽ আত্মসাৎ,
ঘুচাইয়া ভবক্লেশ ৮
āmi bhāgyahīna, ati arbācīna,
nā jāni bhakati-leśa
nija-guṇe nātha, kara’ ātmasāt,
ghucāiyā bhaba-kleśa 8
āmi — I; bhāgyahīna — fortune + devoid; ati — exceedingly; arbācīna — foolish; nā — not; jāni — I have knowledge; bhakati — devotion; leśa — iota; nija — Your own; guṇe — qualities; nātha — O Masters; kara’ ātmasāt — appropriate [me] to Your own use; ghucāiyā — having vanquished; bhaba — material; kleśa — sufferings
I am unfortunate and exceedingly foolish. I do not understand even an iota of bhakti. O my Masters, by virtue of Your greatness, take my soul and make me Your own, thereby vanquishing my material sufferings.
সিদ্ধদেহ দিয়া, ব্ড়্ন্দাবনমাঝে,
সেবাম্ড়্ত করঽ দান
পিয়াইয়া প্রেম, মত্ত করিঽ মোরে,
শুন নিজ গুণগান ৯
siddha-deha diyā, bṛndābana-mājhe,
sebāmṛta kara’ dāna
piyāiyā prema, matta kari’ more,
śuna nija guṇagāna 9
siddha deha — perfected spiritual body; diyā — having given; bṛndābana — Vṛndāvana; mājhe — within; sebāmṛta — service + nectar; kara’ dāna — bestow in charity; piyāiyā — having made drink; prema — transcendental love; matta kari’ — having intoxicated; more — to me; śuna — listen (imperative); nija — Your own; guṇagāna — qualities + songs
Give me a perfected spiritual body within the transcendental abode of Vṛndāvana and bestow upon me in charity the nectar of service to You. After making me drink prema and thus become spiritually intoxicated, hear me sing Your glories.
যুগলসেবায়, শ্রীরাসমণ্ডলে,
নিয়ুক্ত করঽ আমায়
ললিতা সখীর, অয়োগ্যা কিঙ্করী,
বিনোদ ধরিছে পায় ১০
yugala-sebāya, śrīrāsamaṇḍale,
niyukta kara’ āmāya
lalitā sakhīra, ayogyā kiṅkarī,
binoda dhariche pāya 10
yugala — [You] two lovers; sebāya — in service; śrīrāsamaṇḍale — in the arena of the rāsa dance; niyukta kara’ — engage; āmāya — me; lalitā sakhīra — of Śrī Lalitā Sakhī; ayogyā — unworthly; kiṅkarī — mainservant; binoda — Bhaktivinoda; dhariche — holds; pāya — [Your] feet
Please engage me in service to You in the arena of the rāsa dance. This unworthy maidservant of Śrī Lalitā Sakhī, Bhaktivinoda, beseeches You by clasping Your lotus feet.
