নাম অনেক তুয়া শিখাওলি আনি ১

You are an ocean of mercy. To deliver the living beings, You have brought and taught Your innumerable holy names.
সকল শকতি দেই নামে তোহারা
গ্রহণে রাখলি নাহি কালবিচারা ২
sakala śakati dei nāme tohārā
grahaṇe rākhali nāhi kāla-bicārā 2
sakala — all, entire; śakati — power; dei — give; nāme — in names; tohārā — Your; grahaṇe — in taking (chanting); rākhali — You kept, placed, laid; nāhi — no; kāla — time; bicārā — consideration, judgment
You have invested Your full potency in Your holy names and have made no restrictions regarding time or place.
শ্রীনামচিন্তামণি তোহারি সমানা
বিশ্বে বিলাওলি করুণানিদানা ৩
śrīnāmacintāmaṇi tohāri samānā
biśbe bilāoli karuṇā-nidānā 3
śrīnāmacintāmaṇi — the transcendental holy names + “thought-gem” (a fabulous gem which yields its possessor all desires); tohāri — to You; samānā — equal, one and the same; biśbe — in universe; bilāoli — distributed; karuṇā — mercy; nidānā — the root cause, ultimate
The touchstone of śrī nāma is equal to You. You have distributed this treasure-house of mercy throughout the entire creation.
তুয়া দয়া ঐছন পরম উদারা
অতিশয় মন্দ নাথ! ভাগ হামারা ৪

Such is Your supremely magnanimous compassion, O Lord, but my luck is extremely poor.
নাহি জনমল নামে অনুরাগ মোর
ভকতিবিনোদচিত্ত দুঃখে বিভোর ৫
nāhi janamala nāme anurāga mora
bhakatibinoda-citta duḥkhe bibhora 5
nāhi — not; janamala — taken birth; nāme — in the names; anurāga — intense affection; mora — my; bhakatibinoda — Bhaktivinoda; citta — heart; duḥkhe — with sorrow; bibhora — overcome
My anurāga (intense affection) for śrī nāma has never awakened. Thus, the heart of Bhaktivinoda is overcome with sorrow.
